Wipro Recruitment Process:

The Wipro Hiring Process contains three different rounds to hire new professionals, which are:

  • Online Test
  • Technical Round
  • HR Round

Wipro Online Test: There are a total of 48 questions that need to be answered in 140 minutes. It is the first round out of three rounds, and candidates who clear the online test will move further for other rounds.

Note: Wipro mostly takes Group Discussion (GD) before the online test. Sometimes, they may take Group Discussion (GD) after the online test also.

Logical Reasoning: In this section candidate’s analytical and logical ability is tested. Topics generally cover in this section are, Deductive Reasoning, Inductive reasoning, and Abductive Reasoning. In addition, questions will be asked on Coding deductive logic, Blood Relation, Objective Reasoning, Analogy and Coding, Number series recognition, logical word sequence, and Data sufficiency.

Verbal Ability: Wipro gives equal weightage to Verbal ability to check Vocabulary, Grammar, and Reading Comprehension of the candidate. There is an abundance of topics asked in the Verbal Ability section, such as Synonyms, Antonyms, Error Identification, Sentence Improvement & Construction, Inferential and Literal Comprehension, Contextual Vocabulary, Speech & Voices, etc.

Quantitative Aptitude: This section is to test analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. This section covers units of Basic Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Engineering Mathematics. LCM & HCF, Divisibility, Numbers, decimal fractions and power, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Time, Speed and Distance, Logarithms, Permutation and Combinations, Probability, etc. the topics on which generally questions asked in Wipro Online Test.

Essay Writing: This section test candidate’s thought process, way of presentation, and deep analysis skills. This candidate will provide to write on any topic. Professionals must keep in mind that there should be no spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, punctuation errors. A good essay must include noteworthy ideas, good vocabulary, sentence variety, proper structure, and good length.

Coding: This is to test Basic Programming and Computer Fundamentals. So the questions asked in this section are Pattern Printing Questions like 1 2_3 4_5*6 & Basic coding questions on mathematical operations like GCD, LCM, or String based programming. But this section covers a lot of topics such as coding (Java and C++), data structure concepts, array and matrices, basic string/ stacks/ queue operations, etc.

Wipro Technical Round:

If the basic concept of computer programming, data structure, and computer fundamentals are clear, then it is easy to clear the technical interview round. To clear this round, the candidate must have good conceptual knowledge. The questions can be asked from anywhere regarding any topic as there is no fixed rule or domain, so you need to be prepared with the basics well. To improve hiring chances candidates should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, Operating systems, Networking, DBMS, OOPs concepts, and a programming language of their choice.
