Adobe Interview Process:

Adobe Interview process is a bit lengthy interview contains 7-9 rounds of assignment and interview. The process takes more than a month to conduct all tests and releasing the offer. So let’s see the number of intense interview rounds you have to take.

1. Phone screen (30 minutes)

It is a very casual round in which anyone, mainly an HR or a recruiter who will communicate and update you throughout the process, will connect with you. The recruiter informs you about the job profile and your CV selection during the screening process and tells you about further procedures. They also ask general questions about your work, experience, domain knowledge, notice period, and more. This round is easy to clear.

2. Telephonic interview with a hiring manager (30-45 minutes)

After clearing the phone screen, you will be attending the first interview over the phone call. HR will go through your resume and ask different questions based on your resume. Apart from it, there are many questions to test other skills, qualities, and abilities like leadership skills, problem-solving knowledge, teamwork, questions based on a situation. Be ready to discuss the subjects and topics of your course, the past projects you have worked on with deep explanations. 3. Online Assessment:

After clearing the previous round, candidates will get a link to an online technical assessment, which is divided into two sections and contains approx. 65 questions:

Aptitude and logic: This section of the online assessment will judge candidates’ analytical, logical, IQ, and other skills. It contains quantitative, aptitude, logic-based reasoning, and IQ test-type questions. Multiple questions cover arithmetic algebra, profit-and-loss, percentages, puzzles, situations based, and data interpretation.

Technical and coding: This section cover topics related to a binary tree traversal, linked lists, languages like C, C++, and Java, and other computer science questions. Be sure to know about the company and role before going into the interview. You’ll get topics like data structures, algorithms, programming, and bit manipulation in the coding section. This section is a mix of MCQs and descriptive-type questions. Speed and accuracy is the key to clearing this section.

4. Onsite interview (45 minutes)

Candidates who successfully cleared the technical assessment will be called for Adobe’s final-round interviews onsite. But due to pandemics, these interviews will be held virtually. During an onsite interview, candidates will be provided with accommodation, daily meals & transportation reimbursement.

The interview process is quite tough and longer than big tech companies like Google, Amazon, etc. You will be attending four technical rounds and one final HR round of approx. 6-8 hours of back-to-back sessions with each round estimate time is of about 45 minutes. Every round you’ll face is an elimination round that means if you cannot clear any round, then your Adobe Interview is over.

Technical Interview:

There are four back to back technical interviews that will be conducted that consist of the following:

  • Two rounds of coding
  • One system design interview
  • One object-oriented design interview

These technical rounds have different formats. In Adobe coding interview, you’ll be ready with a particular programming language, mostly whiteboard coding. Other interview rounds will contain questions relative to constraints and technical problem solving, serialize and deserialize objects, design, and development, and design LRU cache-related queries.   2. How would you print a list of unique words from a string that contains many repeated words?
  3. What is stack overflow? What are the remedies?
  4. Write a program to check if a binary tree is a BST tree.
  5. What is the difference between typedef and #define?
  6. What is a data breakpoint in C++? How do you use one?
  7. What are the shorthand properties of C++?
  8. Explain the term’ virtual machine’?

Final HR Round:

it is the last round in which HR asked you behavioral and situational-based questions. It is to check whether your attitude and mindset are a good fit for the organization or not. HR asks you questions about your personal life professional background, like what you value, what skillset you acquire, and what persona you have to work in an organization.
